We have been servicing the community for more than 30 years having built up a reputation as one of the leading furniture removal and open warehousing businesses in Cape Town, known as Senekal Transport and Senekal Warehousing.

Adapting with the times our focus shifted to self-storage where we still serve our clients with the same passion and dedication.

About Us

STORAGE MAN was founded and built by WILLIE SENEKAL in 2003. Willie originally started his career studying law but always had the dream to start his own business. In 1991 he started the furniture removal business, SENEKAL TRANSPORT. He continued to grow it into a successful local and national carrier, doing removals locally and nationally.

During that time Willie acquired land and built open warehousing to combine it with the furniture transport business. Willie quickly identified the clients’ need for “lock-up and go units”. In those days self-storage was an unknown concept in South Africa. Willie took the leap and acquired more land to build the first SELF-STORAGE units in the Northern Suburbs and one of the first in the Western Cape. Today, STORAGE MAN is still owned by WILLIE SENEKAL.

Communication about opening times are clearly and timeously communicated, including Christmas season closure. Processing upon arrival is attended to promptly and in a friendly manner.
